My Gnarly Day! 11.20.10

Today I came into school during morning meeting. It was time for the whip and the whip was what is something that you got really in trouble for? I passed. The other whip was what was the kindest thing someone has done for you? I said when my family travels with me. After that we had FLVS. I did Mathematics. The math virtually everywhere to be specific. After we had BRAIN BREAK! We played jail break (picked by the elementary) and we also played disease tag, I was it and Davis won!!! After that we came back up and did PBL. We are working on our single project. First we Mr. Tim and Mr. Randy talked to us on the couch and then we started on our interest. My essential question is how does a piano work? After that it was time for lunch. I ate tuna! I ate with Mitchell, Davis, Hanna, Ellee, and Olivia by Paradis. After that it was time for kickball. The dominators won :(, but we still played great. We did not have tennis because everyone thought that it stopped at Thanksgiving. After that we came back up and did more FLVS. I did more math (I got a 20/20) and some Language Arts. Then the high schoolers talked to Mrs. Sylvia .Then I took Davis's survery on black holes. After that I was offering everybody vanilla wafers and I also helped Alyssa with her math. Now here I am writing my reflections. Later, I am going to play tennis and maybe play with Mitchell and Davis! And I am also going to clean, me and Davis are awesome at wiping counters and that is my job. That was my gnarly day! (I am so excited for Thursday! I am going to Disney World with Alyssa, Nathan, Jordin, Connor, Hunter, Mitchell, Davis, and the rest of their families.)

My superior day!

Today I came into school during morning meeting, it was perfect because we were doing a whip. The whip was, what was the best thing you did over your thanksgiving? I said the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. That parade was marvelous. After that we had FLVS. I did Language Arts, I am now in module 4 which is the last module. After that we had brain break. Of course we played octopus tag and then the high-schoolers chose a game. They chose run-hop. But they changed it up, everyone runs and then everyone hops. It was really fun. Hunter and Kylie were not there because they had to go back to my house to grab Hunter's mac computer. After that we all went back up to the school and did PBL. We are doing a new project based on our interests (I posted in my blog earlier on my interests). After that it was time for lunch. I ate at Summer Kitchen because they are closing for 3 weeks to redo the floors. After that it was time for kickball. Butterfly's Of Hope won! We played until 1:00 PM but then Mr. Randy told us we could keep playing so the Dominator's could catch up. After that we came back up to the school and sent our Diaries to more experts. Alyssa's expert has already e-mailed her back. After that I did some FLVS. I did more Language Arts tomorrow I am doing math and I finished my Spanish. After that we had music. We played all of our songs except for one love because the vocal part is hard and Olivia does not have it down yet. But we have a new song. It is Ice Ice Baby, it is pretty funny because I am doing the rap part. Well, now here I am writing my reflections. Later, well I am not really sure what I am doing later.

My Astonishing Day!

Today I came into school and right after we had morning meeting. We talked about our day and then did a whip. The whip was what is your life's greatest achievement? I said being born, it was pretty awesome! After that we had FLVS. I did math, my test that I have never done. I finally did it and if I get the essays write I get a 16/20. After that I redid a Language Arts. I had to write about a tradition in my family. I wrote traveling to Telluride every year. After that we had brain break. For like the 7th time in a row we played octopus tag. That is where someone is an octopus and if you get tagged you are coral and can't move but you can tag other people. I think we keep choosing it because Leah can play. After that we came back up to school and did PBL. I finished my diary's and sent them to experts. After that it was time for lunch. I ate rice and beans, yogurt, and oranges although I did not eat the oranges. After that it was time for kickball we started at 12:30 and the dominators won (I think). After that we came back up to school and did more FLVS. I did another math, but it was music so I could not do the test. Then it was time for music. We went over our songs and there are now endings to them. Now I am writing my reflections. Later I am cleaning!

My Magnificent Day!

Today I came into school and I was the 1st middle schooler. I pulled my computer up and then it was time for morning meeting. We talked about our NORMAL day and then did a whip. The whip was if you got a tattoo what would it be? I said a butterfly. Everyone else answered and then we had an FLVS block. I did Spanish,  I have to make an invitation for a block party. I needed to call my grandmother for help because my mom was doing something else. After that I decorated it and then we had brain break. We played Sharks and Minnows. Davis was it and he got Mason then Mason got Nathan and Alyssa then everybody got tagged. Then the other brain break was relay race where you have to either run backwards or skip. I skipped and both teams tied. After that we came back up and did our American History PBL. We started writing our diaries. So far it is going very good. After that it was time for lunch. I ate at Summer Kitchen with Alyssa, Ellee, Olivia, Hunter, and Connor. I ate a ham roll-up. Then it was time for kickball. We played a GREAT game! We changed our teams back, so I have reunited with the Butterflies Of Hope. We won 5-6. After that we came back up to school and did FLVS. I finished my Spanish Invitation and then my mom came up and helped me and Alyssa with Spanish. We did not finish it because we had music. I played the drums, guitar, and I sang. We played Viva La Vida, Secrets, and Three Little Birds. Then Jordan (my cousin) came in and we played Three Little Birds once more. Olivia and Alyssa were gone so I had to sing by myself. It was fine though. Now here I am writing my reflections. Later my grandparents will be arriving so I will be with them. That was my MAGNIFICENT day!

My Incredible Day!

Today I came into school and it was morning meeting we talked about our day and then did a whip. The whip was if you could make a law what would it be? I said to not kill animals and the second whip was if you could live anywhere where would it be? I said Paris because it is beautiful and they have great food. After that we had FLVS, I did math. A test that is. After that it was time for brain break. Our brain break was one legged steal the bacon and the counting circle game. After that we came back up and did PBL. Yesterday me and Alyssa made aged paper with black tea for our American History project. Today we wrote what is going to be in our journals. My characters are Thomas Green, Nishan Taylor, and Sarah Williams. After that it was time for lunch. I had some oreo's and a ham sandwich. Then we had tennis. Nathan hit me in the foot thankfully my shoes are kind of cushiony so it did not hurt. We played running doubles, singles, and another game that I don't remember. After that we came back up to school and had a meeting about Costa Rica, Mrs. Amy was showing us a guide thing of the travel people who are guiding us in Costa Rica. After that we did more FLVS, I did Spanish. I did not finish because I had to write my blog. Now here I am writing my reflections, later I am going to be playing tennis.
